The Uh Huh singer revealed she's a Glasto virgin, but would be "delighted" to perform at the Somerset festival.

Jade Bird has never been to Glastonbury Festival but would "100 per cent" love to play there.

Watch her full response in our video above.

Asked by Radio X's Jack Wood if she'd love to play her way into the festival, the Northumberland-born rocker replied: "100 per cent. In fact I've never been. I've never been to Glastonbury."

The Uh Huh singer added: "I love that festival. It's like music-lovers and anywhere where there's proper music-lovers is where I think I really really fit in, so I'd be delighted to play there."

Meanwhile, Jade is currently working on her as-yet-untitled debut album, which she teased the details for.

Asked when we can expect her first studio release, she said: "We've got a release date, although I can't share too much, but it will be early next.

When it comes to an album title, it seems she's still undecided, but might just have to settle for it being eponymous.

She mused: "It's difficult. It's your debut!"
