RIP Mr Bruschini....
In a public post on social media in July, Bruschini wrote that he had been suffering from lung cancer and that several specialists had wished him "good luck".
He added: "Had a great life, seen the world many many times, met lots of wonderful people, but the door is closing, think I will write a book."
The Bristol-born guitarist joined the band in the 1990s and played on their 1998 hit Angel. He also played for a series of other bands, including The Numbers, Rimshots and The Blue Aeroplanes.
The Blue Aeroplanes announced the news and shared a tribute on Facebook, which read: "Bristol-born guitarist who joined the band in the 1990s".
We are devastated to announce the passing of our brother Angelo Bruschini. Our thoughts are with his family at this difficult time. Rest In Peace Ange x
