The young star, who landed the role for the festive ad, comes from Coronation Street actress Tina O'Brien's casting agency.

The young boy who plays a young Sir Elton John in the John Lewis Christmas advert is from Tina O'Brien's casting agency The Drama MOB.

The Coronation Street actress - who plays Sarah Platt on the ITV soap - took to Twitter to reveal how "proud" she was after four-year-old Freddie Henderson landed the role in the ad, The Boy and the Piano.

She wrote: "Proudest day ever. Freddie our little actor superstar @thedramamob @jlandpartners"
