Is a Breaking Bad film in the works?

According to reports, the award-winning hit series is rumoured to be set for a two-hour feature film.

For anyone still mourning the end of hit series Breaking Bad, there could be good news as it has been reported that a film is in the works.

According to The Hollywood Reporter, the award-winning AMC crime drama - which sees a chemistry teacher delve into the world of organised crime and "cooking" crystal meth - is rumoured to made into two hour feature film.

Sources told the outlet that Breaking Bad creator Vince Gilligan is working on a movie, however, it's unclear whether it will be released theatrically or made for television.

It is thought that the show will be set in the existing Breaking Bad franchise, with creator Vince Gilligan reportedly writing the script and production set to begin this month in new Mexico.

However, The Hollywood Reporter added that: "Representatives for Gilligan and Breaking Bad producers Sony Pictures Television did not immediately respond to THR's requests for comment."
