The first teaser trailer of The Crown has been released and it's already set tongues wagging.
Since the passing of Queen Elizabeth II, The Crown has trended on Netflix once again, with audiences watching the series over again with fascination.
Unsurprisingly, recent events have only increased the world's appetite for the royal-based drama, with audiences waiting to see what the next instalment of the series has in store.
Now we have a teaser, which was shared on Netflix's global fan event, Tudum and it sees a new set of actors play the role of Queen Elizabeth II, Prince Charles and Princess Diana.
So as we wait with baited breath for The Crown season 5, we answer the questions: When is The Crown 5 out? Who stars in the cast and what can we expect?

When in The Crown season 5 out?
The fifth instalment of The Crown is expect to drop on 9th November 2022.
Who stars in The Crown season 5?
The Crown season 5 sees Dominic West make his debut as Prince Charles, Imelda Staunton as Queen Elizabeth and Elizabeth Debecki as Princess Diana.
Jonathan Pryce will play Prince Phillip, the Duke of Edinburgh, Lesley Manville will play the Queen's younger sister Princess Margaret and Johnny Lee Miller will play British prime minister John Major.
According to reports, West's own son, Senan West, will portray Prince William in the final episode of season five, with Timothee Sambor also playing the young prince.
Teddy Hawley and Will Powell will both play young Prince Harry, with his part apparently yet to be cast for season six.
What will The Crown season 5 cover?
The Crown season 5 will see the royals tackle the 1990s and, as the trailer indicates, it will depict the separation and divorce of Prince Charles and Princess Diana. Highlights include Princess Diana's infamous interview with Martin Bashir and Prince Charles' own interview, in which he uses the phrase "all-out war".
Will The Crown end on season 5?
There's some good news for fans of the show: Although creator Peter Morgan initially announced he would end the award-winning series after season 5, it appears that he will have six seasons after all.
Writer/creator Peter Morgan: “As we started to discuss the storylines for Series 5, it soon became clear that in order to do justice to the richness and complexity of the story we should go back to the original plan and do six seasons.”

Will Harry and Meghan be in The Crown?
While it has been reported that William and Kate's relationship will feature in the sixth season of The Crown, it is highly unlikely the story will get as far along as Meghan and Harry's relationship by the time it concludes.
