The Radio X DJ left the British press speculating about department store's annual festive advert.
Last week saw a very cheeky Chris Moyles reveal that he was the culprit behind a fake Christmas ad.
The Radio X DJ first set tongues wagging when a cryptic clip was 'leaked' which featured a spaceman-themed Christmas bauble and a costumed piano player.
News outlets from all over the UK speculated that Elton John's Rocket Man could be set for this year's John Lewis advert, and ITV's This Morning was one of them.

Chris of course revealed himself as the mastermind behind the hoax, sharing the news with his listeners live on air:
John Lewis were so impressed they responded to the gag, they even showed off some first class banter themselves.
Taking to Twitter, the department store wrote: "@ChrisMoyles thanks for auditioning for our 2019 Christmas advert. You've got it! See you next year! "
